Nealand M. Lewis is the founding President & CEO of Component Learning (CL). He holds both the coveted PMI PMP® (Project Management Professional) and CICA (Certified Internal Controls Auditor) certification. Nealand's full life cycle project management experience leading highly visible international projects budgeted from $2 million to $1.1 billion have allowed him to engage with senior level stakeholders and effectively transform teams. He is a results oriented professional who with a demonstrated skill in for leading for success, has developed performing Program Management Offices from inception; managed complex Six Sigma DMAIC efforts; and led several SDLC full project development life cycle efforts. He has been regarded in the industry as a “get it done guy” because of his passion for people, process, and service excellence.

His company, Component Learning (CL), focuses on providing career and professional development related programming. CL believes in promoting professional career development by:  

• Working with youth, young adults, and both the corporate and academic communities to foster career counseling and job ideation programming·

• Providing professional development training and mentoring for adult learners

• Creating opportunities to Earn PDU (Professional Development Units) usable for PMP® certification.· 

Mr. Lewis holds both a PhD. (ABD) in Post-Secondary and Adult Education.and Masters of Science in Adult Education.  He also has an MBA with a specialization in Project Management. He has been guest speaker at numerous PMI, community, and private events throughout the U.S and Canada. Nealand has served on the PMI Education Foundation focusing on project management for social good and in support of over 337,000 practitioners worldwide. Mr. Lewis is also a former Chapter President and the first Valedictorian of the prestigious PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class Program.
